Day 29: Review a Lesson from the Past

On Day 22 we focused on assessment as a tool to measure student progress so we can continue to reteach or extend what students have learned so far. In a similar way, today you will focus on your performance as a teacher and commit to making improvements that will make you a better religious educator in the days ahead.

Pull out a recent lesson plan. Use the Day 29 graphic organizer (Exercise 29: Lesson Review Template) to evaluate your performance as a teacher and a planner.

  • What would you change?

As an alternative, try using the 80/20 Analysis to evaluate your performance and review a recent lesson plan.
