Carlo Acutis Worksheet and Activities

04/14/2025 By Jared Dees

Carlo Acutis Activities

Here are some resources you can use to teach about Carlo Acutis, the first Millennial saint. His life will be an inspiration for children and adults alike for many generations to come. Find a biography and worksheet about his life below as well as additional activities you can find and use in class.

Saint Carlo Acutis Biography

Feast Day: October 12

Carlo Acutis was born 1991 and grew up in Milan, Italy. Carlo was very interested in his faith as a child. He asked his mother many questions about God and loved going to church even though his parents were not very religious. He had a deep love for Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. He convinced his parents to let him receive his first communion as early as possible when he was seven years old. Afterwards he went to mass every single day and even when traveling on vacation with his family. He spent extra time after each Mass to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. Carlo loved computers and his PlayStation. He limited his own video game time to only one hour a week so that he would not become overly attached to the games. He spent much of his free time building a website to share stories about the many Eucharistic miracles throughout the world. It bothered him that there were such long lines of people to see rock concerts and movies, but so few people in line during Mass for the Eucharist. At only fifteen years old, Carlo was diagnosed with leukemia, but he did not lose his faith. He offered his suffering to the Lord, the Pope, and to the Church. He died in 2006 and he was buried in Assisi, the home of Saint Francis.

Carlo Acutis Official Prayer

Here is the official prayer from the Carlo Acutis website for his canonization:

Oh God, Our Father,
thank you for giving us Carlo,
a life example for the young
and a message of love for everyone.

You made him become enamoured with
Your Son Jesus, Making of the Eucharist
his “Highway to Heaven”.
You gave him Mary, as a most loving Mother,
and, with the Rosary, you made him
a poet of her tenderness. Receive his prayer for us.
Above all, gaze upon the poor,
whom he loved and helped.
Grant for me too, by his intercession,
the grace that I need . . .

And make our joy fulfilled,
placing Carlo among the Saints
of your Church, so that his smile
may shine again for us in the glory of your name.
Amen

Pater, Ave, Gloria
(“Our Father”,“Hail Mary”, “Glory be to God”)
