“Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 18:3–4)
If you have class today, observe your students and learn from them. If you don’t see your students today, that’s O.K. Focus on your most recent encounters with them. Use the questions in day 6 of 31 Days to Becoming a Better Religious Educator to help you recall how your students worked and played. Allow God to guide your reflection and help you remember key events, actions, or things they said that could have meaning for you as a disciple.
You can also download and complete this guided reflection from the 31 Days Leader’s Guide: Exercise 6: Learn from Your Students.
After you complete today’s reflection, share the story with a fellow colleague, your spouse, or a friend. Talk about what you learned. Share their stories!
